As part ofthe Solvay Supply Chain Excellence team, overall objective of the job is to :
Supportthe Supply Chain Excellence function across the GBUs and improve the effectiveness& efficiency of the SC processes on a global basis.
Bein charge of continuous improvement initiatives
Optimizeprocess & practices through projects
SupportGBUs to revise their processes in all the fields of supply chain.
Participateactively to definition & design of new SCE methodologies and tools
Supportimplementation of new processes, methodologies, and tools
Main accountabilities :
Isresponsible to provide the expertise for SC process and tools
Isresponsible to support the BUs and to recommend solutions
Isaccountable for the deployment of actions committed to the BUs in his area
isresponsible to share the transversal experience with stakeholders (SCE Team,Businesses, other excellence streams within the group, .)
Key challenges :
Implementbest practices among the various regional SC teams
Understandthe GBUs Supply Chain specificities
Workproactively to ensure optimized ways of working across the GBUs in the sake ofefficiency and cost management (working capital and ebitda)
Performance Criteria :
EBITDA& Cash impact generated
Deliveryand follow-up of supply-chain excellence dashboard with concerned qualitativeand quantitative KPIs
SupplyChain Network high competency level recognition
Numberof projects on supply Chain excellence tracking tools
Degreein Supply Chain Management, Chemical or Industrial Engineering
Atleast 5 years of experience working in Supply Chain domain. Consultancyexperience or operational experience in chemical or process industry preferred.
Goodknowledge of Supply Chain processes (logistics, planning and forecasting,transport and distribution)
Demonstratedability to work with cross functional teams Good oral / written communication andcomputer skills Fluent in English, (French also desirable)
Strongproblem solving, analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Highdegree of autonomy
Abilityto work in a global team environment
Theposition is based in Brussels NOH. The position requires being expert inmanagement of projects and having an excellent level of communication.
