Job Description : Coordinating and completing reports required by federal agencies specifically EU countries relating to WEEE and maintaining complex files and electronic document management systems, and working with project teams to obtain approval and compliance for the entire organization.
Submit periodic scheduled reports on product sales and weights of products based on EU country regulations and review sales and weight data accuracy in the WEEE and Batteries report in PowerBI.
Coordinate efforts associated with the preparation of regulatory documents or submissions for the entire organization such as WEEE and Batteries documentation required as new requirements and / or changes occur within the EU states and keeping up to date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines.
Coordinate completion of any EU state specific document requirements for sales information, contract changes or updates, etc.
Coordinate with other departments within the organization to maintain the Sustainability webpage. Prepare pre-requisitions for any projects requiring a WEEE / Batteries related PO to be processed.
Review pass-through fee invoices from each EU Compliance Scheme Program and forward to Finance for payment processing. Gathering, evaluating, organising, managing and collating information in a variety of formats and at the same time maintaining familiarity with company product types.
Act as a liaison person between the different consultant party and all entities of FLIR
Basic scientific and legal understanding, have top analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
Successful candidate needs to be highly organized and meet strict deadlines. People skills and the ability to network and negotiate are a must.
Previous experience such as working as a regulatory affairs assistant or in other areas, such as research or quality assurance Knowledge on the WEEE Directive 2012 / 19 / EU, including the implementation of Open Scope (effective 15th August 2018) Knowledge on the Batteries Directive 2006 / 66 / EC Proficient in PowerBI, DataWarehouse and SAP system is an asset Fluency in another language will be useful
