Lead the deployment and governance of Microbiology & Thermal Processing strategies, standards, plans, projects and systems to protect and enhance CCEP resources, assets, trademarks and corporate reputation across the Business Unit.
Within this remit lead the deployment of an appropriate liquid food factory’ culture and behaviour.
The BU Microbiology & Thermal Processing Senior Manager manages the microbiology & thermal processing aspects of sensitive’ products, activities and processes at own and subcontracting sites across the Business Unit.
He / she provides leadership and expertise in order to create value for CCEP by (a) guaranteeing compliance to Microbiology & Hygiene standards and stakeholder requirements, (b) by driving sustainable continuous improvement and (c) by ensuring effective root cause analysis & risk management.
The Senior Manager Microbiology & Thermal Processing has the following key responsibilities and tasks :
Coordinate the development, implementation and monitoring of Microbiology, Hygiene & Thermal Processing standards and procedures across the NEBU Business Unit (including co-filling sites).
Provide assertive Microbiology & Hygiene guidance to the NEBU sites / business to ensure focus on the right priorities.
Drive delivery of NEBU Microbiology KBIs and Thermal Processing key projects on target.
Lead & support proactive risk management (from assessments to mitigation plans) for NEBU in the areas of Microbiology & Hygiene.
Support the building of strategic Microbiology, GMP and GLP knowhow for the Business Unit in order to ensure readiness to manage new products, new technologies and / or new processes and systems.
Provide Microbiology subject matter leadership in incident management and crisis resolution (IMT / IMCR) where the professional judgment on Quality and Food Safety is crucial.
Report to Site and Business Unit Leaders about the Microbiology & Hygiene performance and trends, challenges, (emerging) risks and opportunities and develop appropriate action plans to drive achievement of Business Objectives / Targets as well as sustainable Continuous Improvement.
Support the development of Microbiology capabilities across the Business Unit organization via mentoring and coaching in order to continuously improve and embed desired knowledge, skills and behaviours throughout the organization.
Lead cross-functional and cross-site Microbiology & Hygiene projects.
Build a network of internal (CCEP) and external partners / experts in the area of Microbiology & Thermal Processing in order to defend and represent the NEBU business, gain & maintain knowledge, stimulate collaboration, facilitate gate keeping’ and to drive continuous innovation.
Build close working relationships with the CCEP Centre QESH team, the KO WEBU Technical team and the Operations sites in order to drive full alignment between NEBU and site strategic priorities & objectives and Coca-
Cola System’ Microbiology & Thermal processing strategies and long-term plans.
