The CI Lead Packaging is responsible to implement the Lean performance improvement strategy in GEOS EU (Global Edible Oil Solutions Europe) packaging fleet.
By applying Lean methodology, by deploying the Cargill Manufacturing Excellence Strategy, Process Operability and Controllability, Stable Ops and Infinity Loop principles, the position identifies opportunities for Continuous Improvement to drive incremental value for customer and stakeholders, addresses the need to accelerate our progress and builds the foundations for a sustainable data driven performance focused organization.
Major Tasks Deployment Leadership
Leads the plant performance assessments, Infinity Loop Workshops and activities in GEOS Europe Packaging : Daily and Project Improvement Cycles;
Centrally manages, prioritises, plans, deploys and supports deployment of Cargill’s Manufacturing Excellence System processes;
Provides day-to-day oversight for the overall Continuous Improvement portfolio across GEOS Europe Packaging sites;
Leads and supervises teams across GEOS Europe Packaging sites to analyse, develop and implement sustainable and quantifiable business process improvements.
Program Execution and Value Realisation
Leads Lean performance improvement strategy in GEOS Europe Packaging Facilities;
Accurately forecasts program costs and value realisation targets;
Provides day-to-day oversight to identify, monitor, and implement continuous improvement best practices. People, talent development
Subject matter expert and coaches Process Improvement Engineers, deployment leads and local CI specialists and mentors Green Belts (Lean and 6 Sigma practitioners);
Drives Lean philosophy and Lean Culture as well as CI capability and culture change. PEx maintenance, planning, reporting and communication
Accountable for program administration and coordination, including the development and execution of Production Excellence deployment strategy and plans;
Facilitates working discussions across GEOS Europe Packaging sites teams, and maintains an open partnership with business users to identify and solves gaps in the CI process;
Challenges the status quo with GEOS sites leadership and other stakeholders to explore new ways to analyse, measure, execute and ultimately bring increased value to the asset or process.
