What you’ll do
As you play a fundamental role in improving our IT solution strategy and delivery, focusing on reliability, performance and stability, in close collaboration with all IT teams but delivering platform enhancements with your R&D Scrum squad.
A main focus lies on delivering new or upgraded product / functionalities.
Together with the Solutions Architects and the IT Analyst :
Assessment of new opportunities, new development and / or refactoring initiatives, new services or operational improvement initiatives for IT processes, business processes and financial processes
Definition and maintenance of platform functionalities
Production and maintenance of operational and non-functional requirement documents
Production and maintenance of business cases
Definition of roll-out (communication, documentation, training)
Interacting with IT Operations and Infrastructure teams :
Define a common approach to monitor and improve the Platform performance and stability (KPI, transactional performance, etc.)
Provide transparency on R&D activities and synchronize the respective roadmaps to speed up delivery
Develop your squad’s skills to act as R&D first-line applicative support line when required
Interacting with the IT Analyst and Continuous Delivery Leads :
Assist the IT organization to understand and clarify business requirements
Produce or contribute to feasibility assessments proposed by IT
Validate feasibility with Solution Architects & Tech Leads
Within the R&D department
Assessment of platform features and design to refactor in order to increase the platform performance and stability
Translation of PPS Tribe Roadmap into prioritized Product Backlogs with R&D dev team and Continuous Delivery lead, to ensure that development teams understand and deliver the requested functional and non-
Write / split US with INVEST split, identify MVP version and potential increments to deliver (using the WSJF approach when relevant)
With Scrum Team and Solution Architects, you act on Backlog maturation (Grooming, Definition of ready, acceptance criteria) so that sprints are started with pertinent US readiness level and the team commits efficiently
Deal with conflicting priorities and compromise to find (e.g. defects resolution on Domains owned by your team)
Assists preparation of User Acceptance Test cases with involved stakeholders and Quality assurance team, in order to deliver changes successfully
Validation with stakeholders of the different user stories (with sprint review)
At times, handle the handover to Operations teams
Who you are
Experience in similar IT Product Owner role; previous role as Lead Designer or Tech Lead is a plus
Analytical & Design skills with good interpersonal skills.
Tenacious, self-starting, driven and initiative taker
Customer and compliance focused.
Flexible, willingness and strong ability to learn
Strong team player, able to create new solution in a co-creative way
Visual diagrammatic presentation skills.
Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written
Strong communicator, capable to communicate with technical and non-technical staff at all levels in the organization
Ability to incept / build business cases and prioritize on business value
Experience with Agile / Scrum backlog creation & management
Knowledge of .Net framework (4.6) and other legacy language (Delphi, ASP)
