Therefore we are looking for an Agile Coach who can further shape the ING New Way of Working and culture in a responsible, inspiring and coaching way.
Your role As an Agile Coach your main goal is to coach the Squads, individual Squad members and all other relevant roles (stakeholders and managers) with improving their Agile skills and behavior while introducing Agile ING New Way of Working.
You will help them to deliver a great customer and business value and where they will constantly improve. You lead the desired culture change to create a maximum performance in every respect.
Your first responsibility is to train the Squads and coach them on a consistent and proper application of the principles of Agile.
You continuously coach them to improve their way of working.Autonomy, self-steering, collaboration and responsibility are crucial in that culture.
You will steer that new culture and be a promotor of the Orange code of ING. By your energy and enthusiasm, you will succeed to embed the new Way of Working within the organization.
Your key responsibilities Implement and develop Agile way of working / Lean
Ensure that the team members of your squads / customer loyalty teams (CLT’s) have the letter to the spirit knowledge of the Agile way of working / self-organized work.
Develop and ensure proper trainings.
Coach the Tribe / Super(circles) / Squads / CLT’s and their team members to (continue) working accordingly to the agreed agile values, principles and methodology.
Facilitate reviews, retrospectives, stand-up meetings, sprint- and planning sessions. Ensure that Agile events are held and effective.
You point out bottlenecks in the processes and in the cooperation within the team. You provide methods to solve these problems.
You have an exemplary role in dealing with feedback and making sure the Squad members have the courage to give feedback proactively by enhancing a safe atmosphere.
Depending on the maturity and needs of the Squads you work with two to four Squads.
In addition, you coach the (senior) management on Agile Leadership and you stimulate a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
You are aware of the latest developments and trends with regard to Lean, Agile, Change management and Coaching and in your chapter together you translate this to practical solutions and ways of working.
You ensure that your teams know and understand the Orange Code within ING and comply to it as team and as individuals.
Build and develop High Performing Teams
Initiate Tribe / Super(circles) / Squads / CLT’s and build with the team the base for development into a self-organizing team where the team members take together ownership for realizing customer value.
Ensure that the team members in your squads / CLT’s commit to clear and common objectives and customer promises (purpose) contributing to an excellent customer experience.
Challenge the team on customer orientation and fast but qualitative delivery.
Stimulate collaboration within the organization
Organize the sharing of experience, best- and worst practices , knowledge and information with other Agile coaches.
Be recognized as a sounding partner as a result of having created yourself impact in the business and strong content knowledge.

A Master degree and / or minimal 7 years of relevant experience in sales, product, process and / or change context
Experiences in training-, coaching- People Management and / or change roles
Good knowledge of English and Dutch or French
Proven experience and well-developed knowledge of agile and / or lean
Good track record in change execution and achieving your goals
High energy and intrinsic motivation
