For the EU Commission in Brussels we are looking for a Business Analyst with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
Nature of the tasks
The consultant will perform, under the management of an OLAF official, the following tasks :
Analysis of business cases
Business process analysis and modelling
Analysis of business and functional requirements
Liaise with Business Managers
Write notifications for the Data Protection Officer
Assist the responsible OLAF official in the preparation of vision documents / project charters
Follow up of projects / scrum master (development, testing, deployment)
Planning the sprints and leading the different scrum ceremonies
Review e-Learning materials
Prepare and give training
Document procedures for the helpdesk of the applications going live
3rd line support
Review the test plans
Knowledge and skills
Knowledge of the customs domain (NCTS, ECS, Surveillance) or knowledge of Identity management (product : OpenIDM Forgerock)
In depth knowledge of information systems matter
In depth knowledge of large organisation's administrative business processes
In depth knowledge of modelling tools (Enterprise architect)
Knowledge of business analysis tools
Knowledge of software development methodologies
Strong capacity in preparing and writing reports
Strong capacity in giving high level presentations
Ability to apply high quality standards
Experience in multi-client and multinational environments
Excellent working knowledge of English (both spoken and written) is mandatory. French is a plus.
Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication is mandatory
Rapid self-starting capability and experience in team work
