Role Summary :

The Interventional (Angiography, Cath lab, Hybrid OR ) Clinical Specialist is responsible to give high-quality customer training and follow-

up within his / her modality. The Clinical Specialist supports the sales team with the necessary expertise, and shares customer feedback with the team in a professional and rigorous way.

Safe, correct, and optimal usage of GE equipment by our customers and a high level of customer satisfaction are key in this role.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Developing, coordinating, and delivering product training to customers and build solid customer relationships
  • Plan clinical application training tailored to customer needs together with the sales specialist and installation team, and perform the application training for customer’s onsite
  • Producing well-written post-training reports and provide regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs
  • Train customers through classrooms in the GE Academy
  • Participate to the development of On Line Material for advanced applications and deliver Webinars
  • Improve customer satisfaction and install base retention through continuous education on optimization of equipment utilization by customer
  • Become recognized expert in product / clinical technical competencies, answer a wide range of questions concerning software and clinical applications
  • Providing expertise anywhere from product demonstrations, to implementation and on-going support
  • Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing and customer service strategies
  • Support trade shows and professional conferences with educational training
  • Qualifications / Requirements :

  • A suitably qualified clinical or technical degree in Medical imaging or Biomedical engineering or equivalent knowledge or experience
  • Need for a strong willingness and focus on the customer & customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrated skills in clinical scanning on current products / platforms
  • Clinical experience within the vascular imaging field (Angiography, Cath Lab, )
  • A clear thinker with the ability to interpret and translate complex technical data and systems
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Can work autonomously and take initiatives in a fast-evolving environment
  • Have strong training skills to teach customers equipment functions and applications in the learning style which suits best the situation
  • Exceptional communication and well-developed interpersonal skills will allow you to build effective relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate on the bigger picture
  • Proficiency in computer skills (Software & Workstation)
  • Willingness to travel within territory (BNL & France) and to sales meetings and tradeshows
  • Fluent in local language (French & Dutch) and English
  • Valid motor vehicle license

  • Strong presentation skills (public speaking and lecture experience desired)
  • Ability to understand and present complex material in understandable terms
  • Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, to external customers, global counterparts and to team members in other functional organizations
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflict, communicate issues and propose solutions to both internal team members and external customers

  • Clinical experience in hospital / university setting preferred
  • Demonstrated clinical scanning skills in specific modality
  • Current GE product experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience with healthcare software products
  • Proficiency in use of PC hardware / software and audio-visual equipment
