Job Title : Business Development Manager - Sinter

Reports to : Marketing Manager - PGNAA

Group / Division : Analytical Instruments Group, Chemical Analysis Division

Job Family : Marketing

Position Location : Europe, China or Korea (Remote location in any of the mentioned territories)

Travel : 30-50% international travel

Position Summary :

This position will be responsible for identifying opportunities for PGNAA in the Sinter market and promoting the PGNAA solution to new and current customers in Europe, China and Korea.

The candidate shall have strong business development skills and a keen understanding of the Sinter process. The position will be required to work closely with marketing and product management as well as members of the service team to ensure successful projects in the Sinter industry.

Additionally, the position will be responsible for creating and understanding the clear value proposition of proposed solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify new sales leads for PGNAA in Sinter Market
  • Promote PGNAA solution and product services
  • Establish & maintain relationships with customers in Sinter Market
  • Identifies ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options;
  • resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.

  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations;
  • examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.

  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks;
  • participating in professional organizations.

  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

  • Minimum Requirements / Qualifications :

    Must have’s

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a Sinter plant, ideally in an process optimisation role
  • Nice to have

  • Experience in a commercially focused or Business Development role
  • Experience working with a global customer base
  • B.S. in Engineering
  • Other Job Requirements :

  • Adhere to OHS policies and procedures and ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment
  • Clean driving license
