The Belgian Regulatory and Public Affairs team (RAPA team) has a key role to play in fulfilling this ambition. The RAPA team is responsible for devising and implementing the vision and strategy in respect of the regulatory and public affairs activities within ENGIE Benelux. This includes :
striving for an enabling regulatory and legal environment allowing ENGIE to realise its energy and services strategy in Belgium
defending the ENGIE interests in a collaborative, constructive, future oriented and transparent way
working closely with the internal and external stakeholders and integrating their expectations and priorities
you are an ENGIE ambassador, e.g. representing the company in debates, seminars and other public fora, and manage a personal network of stakeholders
you represent and advocate the interests and positions of ENGIE with key political stakeholders and decision-makers
you advise general management and RAPA team members on appropriate lobby strategies and implement them with the team
in a spirit of transparency and collaboration, you make available relevant political expertise and experience to colleagues
you evaluate the impact of stakeholders' expectations on the BU
you work closely with the ENGIE press and external communication team
you report to the head of RAPA Federal Affairs & Economic Studies
you hold a university degree (economics, social and political sciences, Master's in Law, etc.)
you have policy / political experience
you have experience in working on energy policy issues and an understanding of how the energy market operates
you have a keen interest in political and social developments
you are fluent in French and Dutch and have a good working knowledge of English
you are open-minded and outgoing
you have a solution-oriented approach and a positive mindset
