About the job
Based in Brussels, Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour.
You will act as the Chief, Financial Strategy, Policy, Process and Continuous Improvement (FSPC) Office subject matter expert responsible to support the Financial Controller to lead and ensure coherence of financial strategy, policy and processes in the short and medium term and to lead change management (Finance communication, documentation and training).
You will lead an ambitious team of experts, which a great part of their role is to coordinate and work together with other teams within the Finance Directorate and across the Agency.
They shall contribute, to enhance and continuously improve the overall financial framework of the Agency (strategy, policy, procedures, processes internal control, risk management and systems).

We are looking for a talented and knowledgeable Chief, Financial Strategy, Policy, Process and Continuous Improvement (FSPC) professional with a Master’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting or related field of study and 10 years of post-related experience in public or private sector.
A different qualification coupled with particularly relevant experience may also be considered.
You will have extensive experience of process analysis and continuous improvement and process quality management and experience in a Customer Funded or commercial environment.
An in-depth experience in the Implementation of Internal Controls and Risk Management and Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and financial systems essential assets.
Knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is essential and some knowledge of French is desirable.
