Job Description Summary
Athena 2 is the transformation program for the BD EMEA region encompassing changes in ways of working supported by new IT tools.
Athena 2 will alongside the Legal Entity Integration (LEI) project merge the legacy-BD and legacy-Bard entities as well as migrate the current order-to-cash and finance processes and related IT solutions to new ways of working.
Athena2 - FUSION program is the Supply Chain implementation project for Wave 1 - Scope DC Olen, ensuring successful project implementation and achievement of Business goals : Cx Supply Chain, BDI Integration implemented, implemented Multiple state-of-art solution, upgraded delivery network and BDX Demand Planning process.
The FUSION Implementation Lead will be a member of the Athena 2 FUSION program with a primary focus to secure the program deliverables within the Order Management / Order Automation framework.
Scope of the role :
You are responsible for the successful implementation of ATHENA2 in EMEA, within the workstream of Order Management.
Post-order intake handling of customer sales orders from posting of order in SAP S4Hana, until hand-over to transportation and warehouse, incl.
error handling (delivery block & incompletion logs)
Handling of specific batch requests
Managing of reservation contracts
Daily backorder processing
Order status (order acknowledgment, proforma, track & trace) and migration of supporting master data
Cultural and process changes related to the transformation
The Implementation Lead will report to the Athena2 Workstream Lead for Order Management, and work closely with the Athena 2 core team (Order Management, supply Chain and commercial Ops), the Fusion Functional area leader(s) and with various business stakeholders as well as IT teams to ensure smooth and timely realization of the program deliverables by :
Attaining a thorough understanding of current BDI processes, and the A2 Solution Design
Developing a detailed implementation schedule and deliverables
Safeguarding cross-functional process integration (end-to-end)
Monitoring the workstream’s progress by means of 7 Keys-project dashboard
Communicating weekly the status by 1 status-slide to the Functional area Leader
Completing the workstream work in conjunction with his / her project-team
Overlooking cutover simulation and execution activities. He / she will work proactively with other Implementation Leads to resolve cutover issues for the Athena 2 program.
Overseeing and providing on-site support during Go-Live / Post Go-Live stabilization phase
Close collaboration with Supply Chain, Commercial, Customer Master Data teams
As required, provide guidance on Work Process Role Mapping questions and the organization of train-the-trainer and / or end-user training.
Knowledge & Experience
You have previous experience in project management and coaching of a project team is a considerable asset
Knowledge of the current BD / BDI Reservation, Allocation and Back-order processes is a plus
You have a solid understanding of the End-2-End QTC process
You are fluent in English
You are a team player, with strong communication skills
You are customer focussed and drive for end-to-end solutions
You deal well with change and are able to lead others (internal & external) through it
You are good at connecting the dots, and able to explain complex matters in an easy-to-understand way
