For the customer segment Properties we are currently looking for an Senior Business Developer, within one of the three segments in the field of energy services in Belgium and part of the BU Benelux, with the objective of providing zero carbon comfort to properties.

As Senior Business Developer, you will be part of the Sales team in the division Business Development, Commercial & Strategy, and are you responsible for the proactive follow-up of customers in your region.

You also ensure both business continuity as well as the implementation of the Group strategy.These targeted customer groups are part of your customer portfolio : logisticshotels and restaurantsfinancial institutions & insurancereal estatefood retailnon-food retailautomotiveICTgeneral contractorsThe purpose of this position is to foster business development by originating, evaluating and developing business growth opportunities in line with ENGIE’s strategy.

The nature of the development is diverse and includes : organic greenfield or brownfield developmentsnew offers and product developments (eg.

zero carbon as a service )optimization of current asset businesses, including assessment of contractual options, restructuring opportunities and disposalspartnerships and joint ventures developmentssupport on mergers and acquisitionsYour missionreporting to the Division Manager Business Development, Commercial and Strategy, the (Senior) Business Developer will have amongst others the following responsibilities : lead the development of new business models and solutionsbe a key player in identifying, evaluating, developing business development opportunities and commercializing and executing new business solutionsbuild on the expertise of various departments (Legal, Finance, Strategy, Engineering, Operations, ) to achieve the segment development objectivebe able to suggest and challenge technical designs in close interaction with ao.

Realization teams, Tendering team, Tractebel, run the negotiations of key project contracts in collaboration with the sales and operational teamsensure that projects presented to investment committees are developed in accordance with the highest standards (general project structure, risk assessment and mitigation, presentation materials for internal approvals).

Take the responsibility for the preparation of the deliverablesprovide solutions to the issues encountered by the project, thanks to a high level of business understanding and a solution-oriented mindsetprovide structured reporting on BD activitiessupport to the segment commercial and strategy functionsbuild a strong cooperation with the operational managers & teams in order to achieve the P&L objectives together as a teaminternal interfacessales, business development and strategy team membersoperational divisions and departmentsBU M&A teamENGIE ImpactRegulatory and Public AffairsAIFA, CFOs, Legalsegment, BU and Group strategyGroup departments : Global Business Lines Customer Solutions, Acceleration Task Force, external interfaces customers, partners, stakeholders, authorities, contractors / suppliersfinancial, legal and technical advisorsYour profileuniversity degree in engineering.
