Functions

  • His / her main missions will be to :
  • Monitor commercial performance, by ensuring that each segment has clear commercial roadmaps and by tracking the progress along these roadmaps.
  • Support segment leaders and their team in the roadmaps implementation by helping them in developing the proper marketing processes and tools, in particular on cross-segment initiatives.
  • Drive commercial excellence initiatives like for example Pricing, new CRM implementation.
  • Provide market intelligence to feed segments with data and analysis on market trends.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for innovation, not only in term of solutions, but also on more disruptive ways to serve our customers.
  • Be the point of contact for stakeholders outside of the BU in terms of innovation.
  • Pilot internal communication initiatives
  • Drive sales development from Europe to Western Africa
  • Manage a Communication and Marketing Officer as well as a Sales Engineer for Western Africa
  • Lead specific business development projects, including M&A
  • Requirements

  • Master’s degree in engineering, ideally completed by a master's degree in business and / or marketing
  • At least 7 years of experience in industrial marketing, and ideally business
  • development
  • Strongly driven and enthusiastic person, experienced in driving change and influencing in a matrix organization, in an international environment
  • Understand the importance and needs of the customer
  • Strong financial knowledge (i.e. : P&L analysis, margin analysis...)
  • Knowledge of refractory solutions would be a plus
  • Experience in sales and / or sales processes and cycle would be a plus
  • Experience in Innovation management would be a plus
