We are looking for a category manager for our Office Printing portfolio in The Netherlands.
In this role you will play a key role in accelerating our contractual print business bringing new and differentiated benefits to our customers, our channel partners and HP.
You will report to the Manager Print Category BeNeLux and work closely with your team colleagues in the BeNeLux Print Category and with sales & marketing teams in The Netherlands (End-User Sales, Commercial Channel, Retail & Distributor manager)
You will frequently connect with colleagues in our North-Western Europe Market (NWE) and global cross-functional teams on a range of key initiatives, life cycle management and business management processes.
Review & improve sales tools & communication
Representing the Office Print category internally and externally with passion and clarity
Delivering customer and partner presentations on products, services and industry trends
Being a sales enabler towards sales specialists in retail, commercial & end-user sales teams
End-to-End management of respective product lines, with key objectives of revenue and controllable margin achievement, market share & inventory to drive profitable Office Printing Business in The Netherlands
Coordinate a strategic business plan, plan quarterly tactical gameplans and translate in a unit demand forecasting process in The Netherlands including allocation and unit splits based on end-user demand
Competitor analysis, benchmarking and good understanding of industry trends. Ability to create meaningfull insights based on different data resources (eg IDC).
Product life cycle accountability of HP’s office printing portfolio
Define a value proposition per route to market using market trends in IT, workplace & print industry, HP's competitive situation & HP's strengths to develop winning sales propositions.
Be a champion in how digital transformation, hybrid working, security, sustainability & subscriptions play a key role in the workplace of the future
Analyze and set pricing strategy per route-to-market,
Set pricing on standard, promotional and specific end-user deal level
Cooperate with distributors to manage Tier 1 inventory,
Present order proposals to Tier 1 distri’s ensuring a healthy inventory situation
Cooperate with sales teams and distri to find the most optimal allocation and unit split
Knowledge and Skills :
Business planning and management skills
Passion for products and solutions with a focus on delivering outcomes for our customers in a hybrid office environment
Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams on challenging projects
Strong communication skills in Dutch & English (verbally and written)
Comfortable with financial planning and analysis of complex market situations including optimizing revenue, margin and inventory
Mindset to connect with colleagues to make constant progress, sharing successes, best practices & failures allowing others to learn from your experiences
Education and Experience :
Higher education : Bachelor’s degree. Master’s level degree in a relevant discipline is a plus
3+ years of professional experience, preferable in a relevant business or category (category management, sales, marketing, operations)
Demonstrated ability to manage and lead cross functional, diverse teams to achieve ambitious goals
