As Global Field Support Engineer Inkjet systems you a customer facing flying doctor for the worldwide Jeti installed base.

You are responsible for the HQ directed escalations and will be required to travel to solve critical escalations, manage and support country technical issues remotely, assist with troubleshooting technical issues, report out and support pilot sites and validating field documents.

Your responsibilities :

  • Manage and support escalations on the Jeti productline worldwide. As Tier 2 you will work closely with Engineering, SQA, Service Tier 3 and Application groups to support Service in day to day support of Jeti installed base.
  • Onsite travel to address escalations, field test sites, control site installs and trade Show support.
  • Identifying and testing product upgrades and fixes. You document and communicate technical updates in co-operation with the core team.
  • Support and communicate new product releases. You work closely with Service Tier 3 team and may have to help R&D in validation work
  • Issue reporting to Software / Engineering (EPL)
  • Quality control reporting to Manufacturing (PIT)
  • Assist in reviewing and deploying system documentation, managing workshops.
  • Profile :

  • Bachelor / Master in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+ years experience in field service or related technical role
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Inkjet product line
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong customer relation skills
  • Motivated and strong in self- education
  • Must be well organized and able to handle multiple tasks
  • Works well individually and with group
  • Teamplayer- be a part of the group
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Languages : Professional English is a must
  • Willing to travel world wide at least 50%
