RINA is looking for a highly motivated Alternative Fuels Expert for the RINA Decarbonization Team who will be responsabile for the EMEA region.

What your role will involve Your key responsibilities will include : Promoting RINA brand and RINA services relevant to decarbonization to the potential clients in Marine and Industry fields dealing with sustainability strategy Identifying the new business opportunities, pursuing and capturing the new contracts relevant to the use of alternative fuels like ammonia, methanol, hydrogen, biodiesel, LPG and LNG.
Improve the technical and commercial relationship with the key account managers proposing technical solutions for the use of alternative fuels Preparation of offers, scheduling of actions and follow up with management of the projects focused on the use hydrogen, ammonia and methanol Review of the targets and results with top management and other teams Technical support for the review of feasibility study for retrofit and new buildings What we are looking for Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering or similar degrees.
Previous professional experiences in projects dealing with alternative fuels. At least 3 years of significant professional experience.
Professional experience as engineer by engines, storage system and other equipment makers committed in alternative fuels will be a major advantage.
Experience as a surveyor of Classification Societies would be a valuable advantage. Practical and theoretical knowledge of supply and storage systems dealing with alternative fuel.
Good knowledge of both written and spoken English is a must. Good communication skills and team player. Self-motivated and able to meet tight deadlines.
