GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION :

The primary purpose of this role is to coordinate and manage all international employment situations in the Ansell group on a global scale, i.

e. any case where an Ansell employee or candidate crosses an international border, temporarily or permanently.

On a secondary level, this role will lead global compensation projects and / or recurrent activities

This job is based in Belgium, Brussels.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.Policy ownership : define, review and update any Ansell policy related to international employment (international hire, extended business trip, short-term and long-term assignments, commuting, localization and permanent transfers)

  • 2.Individual case management : act as the first point of contact for all HRBP’s for international employment situation; coordinate all necessary activities in support of the business needs;
  • and ensure compliance with Ansell policies as well as all applicable legal regulations.

    3.Vendor management : define, review, track and follow-up all service level agreements related to international employment (immigration, relocation, moving of household goods, income tax, social security, and any other services which Ansell chooses to outsource)

    4.Education and awareness building of all internal stakeholders around application of Ansell policies and ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulations.

    5.Depending on the incumbent’s interests and capabilities, topical leadership for one or some global compensation programs (e.

    g. job evaluation, grading, salary planning cycle, long-term incentive process, international employee benefits, survey vendors)

  • The key interactions for this role are with (1) HRBP and local HR; (2) Senior Management located in region; (3) global team members;
  • 4) external vendors and all internationally mobile employees.

    KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    Education

  • Master in Finance, Economics, HR or Legal
  • International tax expertise preferred
  • Job Experience

  • 5 years relevant experience in similar role, at least multi-country scope, in a multinational company environment
  • Alternatively, 3 5 years’ experience with international mobility service provider (e.g. tax, immigration)
  • Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

  • Deep functional expertise required : (1) evaluation and analysis; (2) plan design; (3) plan execution; (4) communication and (5) vendor management
  • Solid knowledge gained of prevailing mobility practices (e.g. balance sheet, tax equalization); willingness to stay informed of external trends and developments
  • Customer service mindset; understand needs, articulate issues and develop solutions
  • Cultural sensitivity
  • Collaborative team player; demonstrated ability to thrive in an agile environment, and to flex approach in working with peers and colleagues at all levels of the Ansell organization
  • Strong consultative skills; proven results in influencing and driving to outcomes without authority to decide, i.e. ability to influence and steer others through a mix of technical and non-technical arguments
  • Highly motivated and accountable for owning business outcomes including planning, executing and forecasting
  • Analytical and pragmatic, with a solution-oriented approach
  • Strong numerical and project management skills
  • Business acumen; insight into organizational design and dynamics, preferably gained in a multinational manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in standard Office 365 applications, with a particular reliance on (1) Excel pivot tables, v-lookups, and experience creating and manipulating, formulas / data sets and (2) Power Point able to prepare compensation proposals;
