We are currently looking for a Service Delivery Field Support Engineer to support the business in achieving its objectives.

As a Field Support Engineer you will ensure that assigned infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested and operational.

In this regard, you will perform necessary checks, apply monitoring tools and respond to alerts. Where software is a component of the solutions they will also take responsibility for ensuring that the software is installed and configured according to client requirements.

Working at NTT

  • Install or replace IT infrastructure including cabling, basic configuration
  • Carry out on-site interventions to troubleshoot / repair on infrastructure equipment of a customer.
  • Perform in-house equipment testing and configuration (staging).
  • Work in collaboration with the remote engineers for all problem related interventions
  • Reporting to the Field Team Leader and the Operations Manager ensuring all customer issues are brought to their attention.
  • Take part in a 24 / 7 duty role and work outside the normal business hours for planned interventions.
  • What will make you a good fit for the role?

  • High school or associate degree in ICT, Electronics or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Good knowledge in IT cabling and active IT material
  • Good understanding of networks on a component level (switches, routers, firewalls, servers,.. ),.
  • CCNA - Routing and Switching and / or Wireless
  • Any other vendor certification is an asset (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Juniper, VMware, )
  • Highly proactive, team player and committed
  • Flexibility in time and place
  • Hands-on approach and good communication skills.
  • Supportive, customer orientated and well organized.
  • Priority management
  • Ability to work in English, French and / or Dutch-speaking environment
  • Willing to increase your technical knowledge by self-training.
