JOB DESCRIPTION :
Abbott is recruiting a Sales Manager for our Atrial Fibrillation (AF) team in Belgium.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Responsible for managing the direct AF sales force within each respective region or country to ensure the achievement of predetermined sales goals in the AF accounts and for the development of the sales and professional skills of the sales representatives to maximize revenues and profitable growth for Abbott.
AF National Sales goals
Develop the sales tactics most appropriate and effective for regional markets to achieve approved sales goals and maximize market penetration.
Coaching and Counselling
Develop an effective professional sales force by travelling with your sales representatives.
Follow the best practices company guidelines for during and after dual calls.
Ensure that sales representatives are obtaining all necessary product and or technical training.
AF Account / client management
Oversee the servicing of AF accounts and work with the field sales representatives to convert leading competitive accounts and maintain those accounts.
Work closely with the AF team and Customer service to obtain effective service to the customers.
Monitor sales expenses to maximize the profit margins on all products sold.
New product introductions
Support all new product introductions and clinical testing, as appropriate, within respective regional market.
Communicate or recommend new product ideas, competitive findings, any product enhancements, identified or uncovered by the sales force, to ensure that future markets are being pursued and opportunities for expansion and growth are realized.
Ensure that product and policy information, communicated by the US-based divisions and European headquarters and Country level, is disseminated and understood by sales personnel.
Maintain all contacts and relationships with accounts, customers, professionals within the medical community, or competitors, as appropriate, to maximize Abbott exposure within its industries and awareness of all industry information.
