We are currently hiring a highly motivated individual, passionate about finance, financial risk management and technology, to join our team as an Associate Business Systems Analyst.
We are looking for an Associate Business Systems Analyst with a solid knowledge of financial instruments (e.g. Futures, Options, Swaps etc) and finance topics in general through your academic background and / or through relevant work experience.
You will be working on Analyzing banking regulations for the Risk domain to extract & clearly document business requirements for our software solution.
You will be required to translate business requirements into functional specifications to be implemented by software engineers.
You will define test scenarios, implement automated test cases, analyze test results and participate in short system demonstrations to stakeholders.
Writing clear software release & training documentation will also be required.
Under general supervision, provide maintenance and support for applications in various environments including traditional hosting providers, private cloud, and / or public cloud
Apply basic knowledge of business systems to perform routine technical assignments
Assist in supporting various application environments, including operating systems and databases, along with the operating environments
Analyse requirements, test, and integrate application components to ensure that system improvements are done accurately with highest quality
Utilize established project standards, procedures and quality objectives
Assist in the analysis, planning, requirements gathering and logical design of a software product by working with internal and external customers
Participate in gathering requirements from Product Owners / Stakeholders, assist in creating user stories and work closely with technology teams
Basic knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
Bachelor or Master's degree in Economics, Business Economics, Business Engineering with a specialization in Banking and Finance
Basic knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts related to IT Business Systems
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team environment
Effective interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to maintain positive working relationships
