    The Hardware In the Loop Senior Testing Engineer develops the automatic validation test plan from the system and vehicle specifications, defining the integration test and the validation test process (test protocols). He / she guarantees :

  • the execution of the test activity according to the project schedule for the release to production
  • the maximum software validation coverage.
  • the maximum HIL hardware requirement
  • track of Combine / Balers platform activities

  • Design / Manage software verification test for software components, mainly on Hardware In the Loop environment, including test cases description, automatic testware development and test report distribution.
  • Guarantee no safety issues and serious malfunctions due to software bugs or lack of system integration are present at the end of validation process, in accordance to system specifications, Functional Software specification, diagnosis specification, Interlock specification and Functional Safety documentation.
  • Secure correct deployment of CNHind Hardware In the Loop (HIL) methodology and processes.
  • a. With attention to HIL, secure on time availability of testware suites meant to check multiple Electronic Control Unit functionalities and their integration.

    b. Design all maneuvers meant to support module SW verification AND testware development

    c. Being able to effectively support testing team by self-design portion DVP, test cases and when needed by doing portion of them both on HIL AND on Vehicle

  • Secure correct deployment of GPD process throughout Ag projects with attention to CRB meeting and main project phases (i.e. OKTB, OKTS)
  • External supplier engagement by SOW / PERF definition and agreements of deliverables. Monitoring and Controlling actions by periodical meetings.
  • Manage project plans in agreement with App / Shared Team.

  • Electronic / Informatics Engineering Master Degree or equivalent.
  • About 3 / 4 years in Automotive Companies (or similar), last 2 years as Test Engineer.
  • Good knowledge of dspace HIL Hardware and SW toolchain
  • Good knowledge of Matlab / Simulink / State Flow.
  • Experience on Testware development from functional specification.
  • Experience on Vector tools, likes CANalyzer / CANOe, for CAN BUS protocol and LIN.
  • Experience on programming Python / ANSI-C code, and structured software programming.
  • Good experience in Automotive field on software validation activities (i.e : Engine ECU, Driveline ECU Body Computer ECU, etc)
  • Knowledge of Agile Software Development Process.
  • Knowledge of the issues relating to interfacing of sensors / actuators with electronic control units
  • Skills to work on more projects in parallel.
  • Knowledge on automotive Networks (i.e. CAN,LIN)
