  • Position Summary : *The Key Account Manager Minerals EMEA is the primary commercial and technical resource responsible for actively driving and managing the evaluation stage of the sales process for Minerals in the EMEA region.
  • Working in conjunction with the Global Minerals Sales and Product Management Team as the key technical advisor and product advocate, she / he must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.

    Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.*What you will do : Work closely with Mining Head offices and Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) companies as well as Original Equipment Manufactures (OEMs) throughout the mine development phases to get the optimum plant layout and maximise booking for Greenfields projects.

    This will include : Deliver bookings and revenue commitments for the minerals product line and EMEA territory* Proactively visit and present to EPC’s / OEMs’ and Head offices to build a core understanding of our products and capability* Actively build and strengthen strategic relationships with key personal to ensure we are invited to participate in projects throughout the development stages* Work and align with the internal team to optimize the plant design for Thermo Fisher and then actively promote and sell that concept to the customers by understanding and highlighting the added value of the portfolio* Conduct regular meetings with key head offices and provide business updates to key partners within the company including market trends, requirements, customer satisfaction and competitive landscape updates* Directly manage and respond to tender requests to maximise our bookings from Greenfields projects* Commercial Process Management lead contractual processes including Confidentiality agreements, Preferred provider / Master Services agreements / pricing agreements.

    Responsible for the resolution of commercial issues / negotiations* Development of service opportunities & growth partner with service providers to deliver strategic full service offering and programs.

  • Collaborate with other regionally based Sales team members to maximise our success in cross regional projects* Work closely with EPC’s / OEMs and head offices to understand the industry trends and needs and feed those back into the strategic planning process* Proactively promote new products and solutions to the customer base* Reporting integrate Sales Force.
  • com as part of daily work to ensure accurate reporting including pipeline management and accurate forecasting* Coordinating with Product Management, Commercial Management and Marketing on gain initiatives and campaigns* Continuous improvement find opportunities for standardized work, and improvement of quality and service with customer base.

  • Formulate and implement action plans for continuous improvement* Maintain and update a database of key mine sites across Copper, Gold, iron Ore, Phosphate, nickel and other key minerals in the assigned region*How you will get here : Education Bachelor’s Degree required or meaningful experience in the minerals and mining industry* Experience* Shown proven success in sales of complex and high sophisticated industrial equipment* Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix environment* Effective negotiation skills* Experience in solution and value-added selling *Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communications skills* Analytical approach;
  • proven competence managing by the numbers’ to forecast and to planning for and making commitments* Set and achieve goals, handle time, tasks and risks, meet deadlines and run heavy workloads* High energy level with the ability to take initiative* Based in Europe with ability to travel 50%+ of time* Business fluent in English, additional language skills preferred (e.

    g. Russian, Finnish, Turkish)* Good knowledge in CRM (SFDC.com) and Office tools
