IoT Solution Sales Representative

PTC is looking for talented, enthusiastic, and career-minded individuals to join our Japan sales organization where you will have the opportunity work with the acknowledged leader in the incredibly dynamic Internet of Things (IoT) application space.

Our current customer base includes a growing number of companies in a range of industries.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Achieve assigned revenue target by selling PTC ThingWorx complete line of solutions and services
  • Make profit of PTC large customer database to create a pipeline of opportunities by identifying, selecting and addressing companies supposed to be interested in ThingWorx solutions
  • Provide leadership to a cross-functional account team (sales, presales specialists, global services)
  • Significantly extend the existing strategic relationship with customers / prospects
  • Drive and manage the entire sales cycle from identifying the right business initiatives and building a competitive value proposition to negotiating and closing the deal
  • Competent in the ability to forecast and assess revenue opportunities
  • Investigate and understand the internal business processes of potential clients
  • Build high level executive / SVP relationship sales long term partnership
  • Minimum Required Education, Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in selling enterprise solutions to major accounts
  • Knowledge of IoT / M2M solutions or of MES / Automation solutions / Analytics / Enterprise Manufacturing Intelligence;
  • Industrial Automation experience preferred

  • Solid experience of discrete manufacturing industry with process industry domain expertise
  • Successful sales track record
  • Able to work in a team and goals driven
  • Consistent top performer / President’s Club or equivalent
  • Business Level English
  • Basic Qualifications :

  • High School diploma
