Reporting to the Sales Manager this role will hold strategic responsibility for maintaining and developing the sales across several high-profile banking & finance customers headquartered in Belgium and Luxembourg.

This role is part of the Colt Capital Markets sales team, a key focus vertical for Colt.

Using your business acumen, exceptional insight and executive level influence you will work with a team of Sales, Service Managers, Customer Relationship Managers, Solution Engineers and Strategic partners to ensure account growth and optimum customer satisfaction.

As Account Executive you will have overall responsibility for managing the customer relationship, drive sales strategy, account plan and internal team coordination.

Driving effective client growth & acquisition will be in your DNA and you lead by example.

Key accountabilities

  • Drives expansion in new business area with existing customer base and Breakthrough in new accounts, with a focus on large, transformational solution deals.
  • Broadens existing customer relationships, cultivates executive contact in order to gain strategic positioning and uncover new opportunities.
  • Builds relationships and contact plans on operational, management and executive levels of the customer organisation.

  • Develops and continuously updates a meaningful Customer Development Plan based on industry trending and customer analysis.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the company’s entire product suite, including Colt Capital markets specific portfolio and strategic Colt services.
  • Develops compelling win-strategy and response to the corporate tenders / large projects, guides the assigned bid team, delivers high quality proposals and industry leading presentation, owns opportunity until contract negotiation and closure.
  • Accurately manages pipeline and forecast in Colt tools, prepares account status reports, and recommendations to enhance account growth and revenue potential.
  • Manages financial and operational performance of accounts in scope
  • Builds strong internal network to ensure collaborative approach to managing the accounts.

  • Results-based performance : Responsible for performance against booking, revenue, churn targets
  • Teaming and collaboration both internally and externally with partner ecosystem.
  • Account Planning Quality : Create, maintain, execute quality strategic Customer Development Plan
  • Client Experience and Engagement Quality : Client Governance Committees Management
  • Relationships and key contacts

  • Efficiently drive internal teams mobilized for the large projects and ultimately plan, develop, design, negotiate, deliver high value Network / Voice / Capital Markets solutions which contribute to the clients strategic business development
  • Provides meaningful high-level reporting to Regional Sales Manager and Executives to secure high value business

    Skills & Experience

  • Excellent direct sales skills developed through experience of selling successfully strategic solutions to large customers within the Telecommunications or Systems Integrators or Capital Markets IT industries on a period of minimum 5 years
  • Experience of leading contractual, financial & commercial discussions
  • Familiar with account strategy and global account management governance
  • Experience of leading and managing multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
  • In-depth knowledge of the latest trends in terms of technology sales methodologies and approaches
  • Professional pipeline and forecast management
  • Person specification

  • A proven track record in consultative selling solutions, in addition to broad knowledge and industry relevant expertise
  • Exceptional relationship management skills at C’ level
  • Existing relationships with Capital Markets clients
  • Ability to work in a highly agile environment
  • Ability to communicate, present, influence in a multicultural and multinational environment
  • Team player, versatile from strategy development to hands-on mindset
  • Result-oriented with high commitment, resilience and a positive attitude
  • Proven ability to balance competing demands and priorities as well as operate independently while building a successful sales pipeline
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree / MBA in business / technology preferred
  • French, Flemish and English language skills at professional level.
