The challenge :

As EHS Manager, you support our departments in safety, well-being and environment.

You ensure that processes are in place to comply with the Environmental Health & Safety rules and regulations.

You manage the plant by-products and waste output to maximize revenues and minimize plant waste while maintaining compliance with local regulations and company guidelines.

The goal is to execute the legally prescribed tasks of the Environmental Health & Safety Manager TBE Leuven (Brewery Leuven, GHQ, Gitec and Brewery Belle-Vue).

You are responsible for implementing the Safety Pillar in our Management system and the full ownership of the Safety Pillar and the Environmental Pillar.

The role :

Maintaining the EHS policies and standards included in the Safety and the Environmental Pillar : act as a plant guide regarding EHS policies and standards for TBE Leuven.

Management of EHS permits for TBE Leuven.

Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety. Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines.

Contact authorities. Fire prevention. Local EHS crisis management. Liaison with Insurance company. Ensure that all documentation is updated continuously by the Zone Brewery Support group.

Budget management for health and safety, environmental budge, and owner of the EHS investments (Advise about the investment projects of the brewery regarding EHS rules and regulations).

Monitor compliance with policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations.

Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.

Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker's compensation claims.

Who we're looking for :

Master's degree level

Certificate Health & Safety Manager level I

Certificate Environmental Manager Level A

Knowledge of the regional and national environmental and labor safety regulations

Excelling in stakeholder management

Management and coaching skills

Excellent Dutch and English level

Proactive, structured, and well organized
