About The RoleThe swift.com web application team is in charge of the definition and delivery of web application solutions for SWIFT commercial, marketing, customer support and legal organisations.
Our Web applications are hosted in SWIFT datacenters and cloud PAAS infrastructures. Applications are delivered by our web application development teams and / or external partners.
We are part of a product group that focus on delivering secure, high quality web applications as per committed timelines.
We are looking for a strong application development engineer to help deliver and optimize our applications.Responsibilities
You deliver quality software
You deliver applications as per functional requirements that are stable and user friendly.
Your applications are secure and well instrumented
You actively consult and share application design / patterns with your development lead and development peers.
You document applications in detailed design specifications
You solve cases for the web applications we deliver.QualificationsEducation-experience
University degree or proven equivalent experience.Skills and expertise
At least 4+ year experience as a web developer
At least 2+ year experience with the Angular framework
At least 4+ year experience with Java development
Knowledgeable of RHEL, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Microsoft Azure, NexusIQ, Git, Coverity, Burp and , Splunk is an asset.
Familiar with the cybersecurity challenges in the context of internet facing applications
Knows Web application, stack and platform concepts.
Has experience in documenting technical designs
Committed, pragmatic and solution oriented
Good communicator, an active listener with an engineering mind-set.
Able to discuss with business analysis and developers to define a solution in line with requirements, technical, timing and budgetary constraints
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Open-minded team player, ready to adapt to the changing needs
