About the team

We’re an Agile 2.0 multi-cultural organization, working thru several domain Tribes composed of several DevOps squads, working on implementing new payment methods.

Agile is in our DNA, Scrum is our daily framework when delivering new features every week to Production. Passion, trust and innovation drives the way we build and deliver payment platform enhancements.

While looking for passionate new dev colleagues to join us, we give lots of autonomy and E2E ownership to our Scrum squads, being the key assets of our company.

We recently did achieve a DevOps transformation, embedded with Infrastructure-as-a-code enhancements that now lets us more autonomy than what you could have faced in previous careers.

On the other way, we’re also re-engineering legacy layers in order to take advantage of new emerging technologies to re-invent our future.

Majority of our solutions are based on .Net micro-services.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include

You are part of a multidisciplinary Tribe of enthusiastic people, dedicated to the specific projects and products. You will be part of a Scrum feature team and participate actively in all its scrum rituals since empowerment is a real strong value of our company.

You will collaborate with all stakeholders from product definition & grooming in order to deliver but also support it in production through a DevOps collaborative mindset.

You take an active part in peer-working / coding sessions , because you understand high value it brings for knowledge acquisition and good practices sharing

Create innovative & high-quality technical solutions and architecture that will be delivered through scrum iterations, using CI / CD pipeline directly ran by your DevOps squad

You deliver and demonstrate user stories , blending code development & testing activities , supported by common "Definition of Done" defined by your scrum team

You support roll-out and monitoring of new features delivered by your scrum squad and are open for reactive support upon customer support

You inspect and adapt through recurring retrospectives but you’ll also take involvement on HackDay sessions that help our company to identify potential improvements

Signs of success

As success-driven and empowered squad member, you demonstrate nice skills to help your squad to deliver and improve :

With your full-time Product Owner, you participate to scope inception & grooming sessions in order to make backlog more mature for further sprint delivery

You identify key required technical assets & artefacts and refine backlog complexity in order to confirm commitment, as squad >

you’re not afraid to work with Story Points ;-)

While delivering functional solutions, you also inspect sprint progress and address it with you team mates, supported by your Scrum Master

You strive to reach common Definition of done and are ready to demonstrate it to business stakeholders

You’re naturally transparent and curious to learn new things and / or train your squad : both Back-End and Front-End layers do happen in the same squad

You dare to ask question and / or feedback your team mates in order to improve your knowledge but also increase collaboration improvement inside your squad

Skills we can't do without :

Software Development defines you, it is a passion you want to share with others and want to improve every day : min 2y experience with ASP .

NET Core and Service Oriented Architecture or such basics and being used to work with any kind of source control tool (at Worldline we use GIT)

You don't only write code, you own it and you feel responsible for the software you build.

For you, testing is of utmost importance; better yet, you think automated testing is the way forward in order for you to fully concentrate on writing software instead of focusing on debugging

Finally, we work in a very Agile, multicultural set-up, so a fluency in English is required

Skills we'd like :

It would be great if you have the following skills, too :

First working experience with Agile and Scrum most especially, taking advantage of all Scrum rituals to leverage squad joined delivery

Experience with some monitoring / alerting automated frameworks

Analytic mindset
