Fleet Category Manager

You are responsible for the fleet (+ / - 1150 company and utility cars) and the related category management responsibilities.
With one team member, you will manage the SPIE Belgium fleet and its related supply chain and procurement activities.
What You'll Do
Ensure that fleet sourcing activities support the achievement of our strategic objectives
Maximize SPIE Belgium's purchasing power to reduce total cost of ownership and increase savings
Ensures that the renewal of our fleet is in line with the Green ambitions of SPIE
Negotiate our contracts and conditions with leasing companies, cars and trucks producers and leasing related suppliers (fuel, insurance companies, etc)
Be responsible for the ongoing management of fleet strategic relations with preferred suppliers
Determine the successes and weaknesses in our relations with fleet goods and services suppliers.
Advise internal clients in complex daily fleet requests
Manage sensitive fleet files
Manage standard operational standards to maintain vehicles by advocating best practices in industry.
Provide direction to department to regulate budget cycle requirements and control budgeting process.
Plan, process vehicle purchase and vehicle replacement through efficient operational process & settlement.
Provide leadership and coverage for key projects.
Plan and prepare annual budget, expenditures and report all financial objectives to the management.
A Master Degree or equivalent by experience
Experience in a fleet management job, ideally in a leasing company
Very good knowledge of the leasing market including the contractual best practices. A people management experience is a plus
Fluent in Dutch and French.
Good with Excel and standard MS-Office tools
Familiarity with or keen interest in the principles of (green) fleet innovation
Excellent operational skills
Good analytical & problem-solving skills
Demonstrated communications expertise with a clear internal client focus
Team player with great interpersonal skills
Eye for details, discretion
Highest ethical standards and being transparent
