The aim of the Project Manager is to manage renovation projects at the client site, in order to guarantee the further development and optimization of the infrastructure.
You will report directly to the Technical Maintenance Manager and will be responsible to carry out technical replacement projects : replacement of Honeywell controllers, replacement of ventilation group, increase in primary distribution of ice water,
The following (main) activities are the responsibility of the Project Manager :
Supervising internal decision processes regarding renovation and construction projects
Organizing / managing structural / technical feasibility studies
Organizing / managing architectural / technical design studies
Organizing / managing the implementation of renovation (sub) projects and this within the set objectives in terms of scope, term, budget and quality.
Responsibilities and activities :
1. Starting up and supervising studies for the design of renovation projects
Active monitoring of the progress of assigned study assignments
Checking the draft documents submitted by external parties
Coordination between external service providers and internal parties
2. Supervising and checking project implementation of renovation projects
Supervision of the construction work
Control of budget, timing and quality of renovation projects
3. Organization of tenders for studies and executions of renovation projects
Preparation of tender requests and tender files for architecture, and other technical studies as well as preparation and checking of contract specifications.
Organizes and coordinates cooperation with engineering firms, contractors and legal coordinators in the context of renovation projects.
4. Administrative project follow-up
Communication and correspondence with (internal and external) parties
Responsibility for correct information exchange between (internal and external) parties
Responsible for compiling and / or checking on as-built files and the PID
Responsible for the delivery and transfer of renovation works and projects

Job requirements and diplomas : Bachlor or master's degree in a technical building direction
A Buildings & Facilities Project Manager has a thorough knowledge of all special building engineering disciplines, both theoretically and in terms of practical implementation.
You have a broad analytical capacity to make the necessary assessments and comparisons between certain possible architectural solutions.
You have knowledge of the (administrative) procedures in the design and construction process as well as the legal obligations.
You realize the construction project according to the internally agreed project objectives and success factors.
You deliver building projects within scope, planning and budget.
Achieving internal (cross-departmental) and external consensus via communication
Minimum experience :
as a Project Manager you have at least 10 years of relevant experience in the construction sector.
You have at least 10 years of experience in writing contracts for contractors, requesting quotes, comparing them, and effectively managing contractors during work.
You have thorough experience in drawing up and implementing project plans.
Language skills :
Fluent knowledge of Dutch, good knowledge of French, English is a plus
