Group Strategic Planning & Business Performance Manager
Within our Global Finance organization, our future Strategic Planning & Business Performance Manager will be responsible for developing the long term financial planning of Aliaxis in line with the corporate strategy.
In addition to that, he will support performance management across the Group by developing and deploying tools & processes to understand financial and non-financial performance.
Key responsibilities : Strategic planning :
Strategic planning :
Support the CFO and VP FP&A in developing the long term financial strategic plan in conjunction with the strategy department (yearly process, includes strategic dialogue meeting / session);
Support link between strategic planning and yearly budget by making sure targets and key elements are integrated.
Business performance follow up :
Facilitate the development / alignment / deployment of Balanced Scorecards to understand progress made against our strategic initiatives ensuring the link with the long term strategic plan;
Support the VP FP&A in driving cost transformation initiative at global level with the aim to reach a lean cost structure to free up resources to be invested in key strategic priorities.
Group wide transformation :
Set up governance system to understand progress made on Group wide key strategic & transformation initiatives.
Projects & Business support :
Support decision making and provide business insights for diverse types of demands. Eg : internal and external benchmarking on relevant measures or compile relevant market and competitor information for instance.
Experience and Knowledge :
University degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering or other relevant domain;
5-7 years’ experience with a strong focus on strategy;
The ideal candidate started her / his career in a leading strategy consulting firm and demonstrates a strong financial acumen;
Experience in defining long term planning at Global Headquarters level is an asset;
Excellent proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of ThinkCell is a strong asset. Experience in reporting tools like Cognos TM1 would be a plus;
Have been exposed to complex and not always structured reporting processes.

Financial and Business Acumen : Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into crisp messages and actionable information to drive results;
Ability to summarize big amounts of information into concise and structured presentation decks. Ability to think objectively and derive meaningful insights from quantitative and qualitative data;
Working effectively in teams;
Change agent, good influencing / convincing and stakeholder management skills across different levels in the organization (from Sr Management to local operational teams);
Ability to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners across Aliaxis, using remote work tools like Skype and video conferencing;
Demonstrate strong listening, written, oral communication and presentation skills;
Ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately;
Driven, energetic, enthusiastic, structured, hands-on, to the point, analytical, good planning skills, authentic, proactive.
