Objectives of the position
Providing assistance to the operations manager for project management as input for
Responsible for the quality reporting on Lineas Intermodal trains
Responsible for the coordination, support in negotiation with suppliers and administrative follow-up of current and new
Responsible for all input of operational data in Navision so that the implementing service (CDC, bookings) can perform its work properly.
Assisting and supporting the Operations Manager to carry out projects
Reporting to the Operations Manager
Backing up the Operations Manager
Specific tasks - projects
Carrying out cost price calculations for new projects (in cooperation with Sales, Fleet, Line Management)
Devising concepts for new projects (zigzags, wagon management, operational handbook, SLAs, etc. )
Negotiating prices and conditions for new projects with other railway companies, terminals, international organizations
Preparing and organizing meetings with stakeholders
Providing support and assistance in drawing up the budget for projects
Collecting financial and budgetary data concerning projects
Providing support to public affairs concerning subsidies
Monitoring the quality of the reporting
Specific tasks quality reporting
Keeping all operational train data (in Navision) up to date
Keeping train maps up to date (timetables, transport links, train routes)
Keeping procurement contracts up to date (prices)
You have a bachelor’s degree in logistics or equivalent through experience
You are fluent in Dutch, French and English; knowledge of German, Spanish and Italian would be a plus
You have preferably already experience in transport or logistics. Experience in the railway sector is a great plus.
You are moreover communicative, flexible and resistance to stress
