Scope : Northern Europe, Nordics and other countries as business needs might dictateArea sales revenue of 9 mio €, 100 active customers, including Key AccountsField of applications : Mobile energy (strong focus on new developing technologies), Polymers and Engineering materials (friction, carbon brushes, lubricants, catalysts)Reports To : Sales Director - Eric LachenaitDirect reports : noResponsibilities and Duties : Commercial plan buildingParticipate with account managers' inputs to the building of the annual sales plan / budget forecast and mid-term plan for his / her perimeter.

Actively develop new customers and applicationsDirect sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.

Responsible for the preparation and execution of the annual sales budget for the assigned applications and customers base in the assigned area.

Execute the commercial roadmaps developed for their segment or products or geography and liaise with marketing teams for all this Manage Key Accounts and the assigned customers databaseCommercial plan execution and monitoringCoordinate effectiveness of sales and development strategies including ensuring appropriate analysis and action plans are in place.

  • Search, collect and process market intelligence material on a regular basis on customer requirements, competitor developments and sales activities, etc;
  • Review and analyze performances against programs, quote and plan to determine effectiveness. Provide reliable input from own market to help shape marketing strategy for all products and servicesEnsure business is servicing existing customer base at (or surpassing) expectations and developing new growth opportunities in each circuit and market segment.

    Execution : account management Support Area Sales Director with negotiation of sales contract terms & conditions Make technical presentations to potential customers, agents, distributors, providers, etc.

    Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support servicesEnsure inquiries, quotations and proposals are handled in a timely, professional and expeditious mannerSupport Marketing activities by attending relevant trade shows, conferences, seminars in coordination with Market Leader for the areaPrepare monthly sales reportMaintain the level of accounts receivables for the assigned market segment in line with company targetsApply the pricing policy vis a vis the assigned accountsCollaboration with assigned customers / other departmentsSupport Application Directors with the analysis of customers’ and market requirements with emphasis on the need for our products / applications to understand, anticipate and meet their needsFoster, facilitate and engage in the direct contact between IG&C departments (e.

    g. R&D, Marketing, Production, etc.) and the customers, while maintaining an updated and clear view of our relationship with each customer or potential customerFacilitate access to all hierarchical levels of our customers, agents, distributors, providers’ organization to Imerys Graphite & Carbon leadership - Introduce new products and new solutions to the customersQualifications & ExperienceEducation level.

    Preferably Engineer in chemistry, mechanical, chemical processing, physics or equivalent Experience : 5 years experience in selling technical products or processed minerals (particularly graphite, carbon black, etc.
