Thales Belgium SA, Belgium competence center of Thales, is a company located on 2 sites, one in Tubize (near Brussels) and the other one in Herstal (near Liège).
Thales Belgium, which employs more than 230 collaborators, is specialized in the design, development and supply of critical information systems for customers in the sectors of Defense, Security (including Cyber), Transport and Aerospace.
Thales Belgium SA (Tubize site) is looking for a :
Thales Belgium "Mechanical, Electrical Layouting and Prototyping Group" is responsible for the support of the design and the development of hardware products for both Military and Civil applications incorporating mechanical, analogue RF, digital and signal processing technologies.
The Group is also responsible for the technical support of the production activities located on Tubize site. The Group is currently looking for a Component Engineer for products development and production activities.
Main Responsibilities :
You assist and support design engineers in the selection of parts that best fit their requirements. You review all requests for new components to assure that a current part can satisfy the requirements.
You participate in design reviews for the purpose of component selection and standardization.
You select multiple sources of supply and maintain the Approved Vendors List.
