JOB opportunity Job Title : Grants & Education Project Manager Job : Full time Location : Brussels Job description In this new and exciting role, our successful candidate will relish working concurrently on multiple projects and programs.
An expert network & volunteer facilitator, our new colleague will help us develop online mentoring mechanisms and therefore raise the performance standards of our current programs in the current circumstances and beyond.
Key responsibilities and activities Coordinate some of the existing programs to ensure greater impact (Sister Centers, Emerging Leaders) Devise and project manage the transition of our Fellowship Program into a blended training experience Bring our existing mentorship program to the next level (gathering all existing initiatives under one common umbrella) Support the Grants & Education Director in leading the ISN Grants & Education team - especially by taking ownership on processes related aspects To achieve this, the successful candidate will need to Demonstrate sound project management skills to ensure the delivery of robust and consistent grant management programs through the design (and / or revision) of processes for the application, review and scoring, and reporting components of the ISN Programs.
Attention to details is key. Devise strategies to engage the ISN community around virtual training and mentoring opportunities Show superior diplomatic and people management skills to support and coordinate a wide, global network of experts and volunteers as well as to work closely with other teams members, help them implement the necessary changes in their activities and liaise with other ISN internal departments (membership, marketing and communications, events, etc) Have a strategic mindset to support the Grants & Education Director in identifying and engaging with new opportunities Be tech-savvy, at ease with the use of technology, IT, database and communication systems.
Skills in educational technologies will confer an advantage in the application process. Qualifications and experience Oral and written native knowledge of English.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills. Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in project managing and implementing online and / or face-to-face educational programs preferably in the non-for-profit sector Well-developed administrative and computer skills, including good knowledge of MS Office, web-based administration tools such as Zoom or Go-to-Meeting, e-mail technologies Strong interpersonal, organizational, planning and team-working skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong focus on execution and results Possess a can do spirit of accountability, helpfulness, inclusion, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun! Would thrive in a multicultural and international environment.
