Position : Operations Lab Technician Length : 6 months with an extension following this Rate : Negotiable I'm currently assisting a top Pharmaceutical firm based near Antwerp who are looking for an Operations Lab Technician who will check the various components, incoming materials and medical devices in the lab for their quality and carry out small tests to verify user-
friendliness. They will be deployed in a varied team where there is day shift, but there is also a late shift present that controls samples of production.
The team comprises a total of 15 people (analysts, inspection, project engineers). Participants can participate in the IPC 1 week per month, whereby samples must be checked every 2 hours in order to confirm good quality.
Required Experience : Relevant degree (scientific background eg lab, dietics, agro, ..) Quick learner Flexible for evening shift (14-
22h) Open attitude (varied team) Someone who can deal with criticism & feedback Smooth communication (asking questions) Ability to speak English & Dutch is a must Preferred Experience : Work experience with medical devices Experience with SAP, LIMS, QTS, IPL Responsibilities : Assembling pens Use of test dummies Read protocols Visual test : checking components and discovering defects (correct colour, irregularities, etc.
ZWICK : Pushing in the needle, emptying out medication and checking 7 parameters (volume, pressure, dosing accuracy ..) ZWICKY : pulling the medical devices apart to check their firmness Sample collection in warehouse and distribution based on colour key Management of master reference samples on components and colour keys for printed packaging materials.
Classification of documentation, files Reporting atypical matters to Quality Specialist Drawing up MIR / LIR for deviating results (Level 2 and 3) My client is open to varying level of experience and background with the potential for the tasks of the role and salary to be adjusted based on this.
