The Business Development Team is responsible for the successful growth of the company in our target markets. We are currently looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team in Brussels.
You will actively contribute to secure the continuous expansion of Skytanking and support the implementation of the ambitious strategy.
The successful candidate will be expected to have excellent negotiation and prospecting skills, must demonstrate an overall high motivation for creating value for the customers and the company, have top-notch presentation skills and a high energy level.
Prospect for and identify new opportunities for infrastructure development in line with the company’s strategy and standards and ensure value and profitability growth;
Contribute to building mutually beneficial relationships with commercial organizations, in particular airports, conducting presentations, understanding customer needs and proposing cost benefit solutions, and identifying new opportunities
Represent Skytanking on relevant platforms (e.g. events, conferences, media, etc.) towards existing and potential partner in the aviation industry.
Assess opportunities, prepare business case, proposal development and commercial & legal approach
Position Skytanking as a leading provider of fuel services on airports in the assigned region;
Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, and products related to the aviation fuelling sector;
Provide overall project management for ongoing projects;
Experience in aviation fuelling business will be a definite advantage
Ability to drive customer satisfaction through understanding and meeting their aviation fuelling needs and following-up on engagement opportunities
Resilience and composure to remain positive under pressure and in the face of frequently changing circumstances or competing demands
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment, displays a positive Can Do’ attitude
A desire to take ownership of your work and maintain superior attention to detail
Minimum 5+ years relevant experience including provable track record of winning new business
Ability to identify, progress and close business opportunities with new customers
Fluency in English - any additional local language will be a definite advantage
Experience in bid writing, tender proposal submission processes and contract negotiation is desirable
