The opportunity

We are looking for an Ethics Compliance Officer to join a dynamic Ethics and Compliance team.

The Ethics Compliance Officer is part of Compliance Ethics & CoC team and will report to the Head of Compliance Ethics & CoC.

We lead projects in close collaboration with product, sales, development, legal, compliance to deliver actionable results.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include :

Supporting Head of Compliance Ethics & CoC with recurrent and ad hoc compliance projects or tasks.

Supporting Head of Compliance Ethics & CoC with respect to local specificities including set-up of banker’s oaths in the relevant entities.

Check compliance of operational teams' (including Procurement and third-party risk teams') processes and procedures with applicable laws and regulations.

Organize second line controls for the following topics : ethics, anticorruption / antibribery and third-party management including outsourcing management.

Drafting and review of the relevant policies (Business partners management policy, Outsourcing policy, etc.)

Mandatory checks from WL Bluebook on core topics including checks on third Party management.

Review and update of Ethics Compliance core policies.

Provision and follow-up of training / awareness of WL Compliance MS Ethics & CoC key policies and guidelines to all WL MS entities.

Support the first line including Sales teams in providing bid / RFP responses relating to third-party management, ABAC and ethics topics.

Provision of regular reporting on local legislations (legal watch) Third-Party Management to the Compliance (Ethics & Coc) team and / or internal stakeholders.

Provision of administrative support including regular JIRA updates, preparation of presentations to the internal stakeholders.

Contribute to the formalization of the Duty of vigilance program

Contribute to the consolidation of the compliance controls monitoring program

Skills we can't do without

Preferably someone with a master’s degree in law, finance or economics combined with experience in ethics compliance in an international working environment.

Good understanding of Ethics, ABAC and third-party management (including outsourcing) legal requirements

Eager to learn and

Ability to work effectively across borders and regions.

Excellent organization, planning, analytical, presentation, communication and influencing skills.

Highly motivated and self-directed.

Full English proficiency.

Previous use of organization tools such as JIRA, SharePoint is a plus.

Reliable and accountable person, results oriented with attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure and with tight timelines

Being reliable, professional, and cooperative

Ability to work on own initiative (proactive) and to manage several tasks / projects simultaneously

Team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Must have strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
