Function

You will enlarge and add new levels of interactivity to our portfolio. These are Barco's wireless next generation collaboration tools for the meeting room that will be used by thousands of customers.

Key Responsibilities

As our C++ Developer you will :

analyze the product requirements and translate them into specifications and architectural designs

work in one of our scrum teams within the Clickshare product range

develop back-end logic and modern user interfaces

optimize execution, robustness, and use of system resources

collaborate with the testers to identify open issues

keep track of bugs and fix open issues

provide proficient documentation for the developed software modules

support the creation of realistic plans for the development efforts by estimating the necessary amount of work and time

As a prerequisite to become our C++ developer you :

hold a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a software development related study

have 2-5 years of experience with OO analysis and development in C++

have at least additional experience in two of the following domains / tools : Qt OpenGL / Gstreamer network communication (TCP / UDP ) multithreading (thread safety mechanisms ) SVN and / or GIT

like to take initiative, work in close collaboration with fellow developers and share your ideas and knowledge

are able to work independently and on tight deadline

you are fully conversational in English
