Are you interested in learning more about Procurement in the world leading industrial coating resins company? We are looking for a Indirect Sourcing Specialist to join our team.
You will primarily work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to provide materials at best TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and to minimize inventory where possible while keeping defined service levels.
You will also manage local relationships with plant managers, maintenance managers and operational people.

Responsible for long term assurance of supply, supplier performance and selection, supply information / data management
Understand the goals of procurement team, co-develop, maintain and execute sourcing strategies for the assigned supplier portfolio
Lead contract and price negotiations for the assigned supplier portfolio to meet saving target
Ensure frequent communication with internal customers, suppliers and third parties to update material price information and define the cost-effective pricing structure
Work closely with multiple teams (like Maintenance managers, Logistics, Supply Chain or Production)
Implement sourcing strategies defined globally or within the region, and draft and execute (supplier selection, negotiation and contract definition) sourcing strategies for assigned categories of indirect goods and services
Set savings plan, (improvement) targets and monitor suppliers performance
Act as primary contact towards key suppliers and develop strong partnerships with these suppliers for assigned categories within the Region.
Drive the optimisation of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
Required skills and experience
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in purchasing or supply chain management in a multinational company
Strong technical affinity, experience with procurement of industrial goods & services in indirect procurement
Ability to perform market, supplier and product analysis in a thorough and critical manner
Ability to present data and conclusions from analyses in an organized, clear and concise manner
Good negotiation & contracting skills as well as hand-on mentality
Strong ability to drive continuous improvement under demanding circumstances
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and strong problem solving capability
Higher education, minimum Bachelor degree, in Economics, Engineering and / or MBA or equivalent by experience.
Good knowledge of English, both writing and reading
Working knowledge of computers and proficient with PC software
SAP basic knowledge desirable
