What you will do

Johnson Controls International (JCI) is undergoing a massive business transformation program and we need your Service Cloud and ServiceMax experience to make it success! Senior IT Business Analyst role is a business-facing IT analyst position accountable for the successful delivery of IT investments that enable the EMEA&LA Service Business.

This position is responsible for the definition and development of business applications that support Service business processes for function or business unit.

How you will do it

  • Build and deploy end to end IT solutions for Service business and markets, involving configuring and integrating standard applications with none or minimum customization and software development
  • Be counterpart of the Enterprise Architects and works together with IT Business Analyst, Product Owner, and third parties (Vendor) in the teams to develop, guide / help, and oversee / implement IT solutions.
  • An individual who is an expert in detailed technical design, compliance, and quality assurance

  • Accountable that the technical solution designs meet the functional requirements specified by the Stakeholders and Business Analyst
  • Accountable that technical solution design meets platform architecture guidelines. Provide feedback to the architecture community on architecture and design
  • Accountable that deliverables meet requirements with regards to Software Quality, reliability, availability, performance, and security & compliance aspects of the solution
  • Supports the development and delivery team in performing build automation and configuration management
  • Supports the Business Analyst, Project Manager, and Delivery Manager on managing, tracking, and forecasting of solution development and delivery
  • Guide the development teams in performing configuration management, build automation, and continuous integration
  • Support the Delivery / Service manager in DevOps
  • Support the Delivery Manager & IT Business Partner during the ideation phase in evaluating the solution feasibility and high-level estimation
  • Support the Delivery Manager in validating estimations provided by partners, and timely provision of technical environments
  • Coach technical leads and developers
  • Promptly escalate issues, which affect product delivery and quality that are beyond the scope of influence and provide escalation support to the partners for complex issues
  • Responsible for validating test strategy and plan, test cases, automation, regression, and test execution
  • Approve the content of the release before UAT and manages interrelation aspects with other applications
  • Ensure seamless business operations support (third line) when needed
  • Support governance and quality principles, methodologies and objectives
  • Apply and promote Agile delivery where applicable
  • What we look for Required :

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of IT experience, including Agile
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SFDC (Salesforce) Service Cloud and / or ServiceMax
  • Experience with coaching technical leads and developers, including estimating software development in Agile
  • Masters at least one application area or platform (ServiceMax) and the integration aspects with other platforms, including a solid understanding of service business process
  • Has a Proven track record on working in a cross-cultural environment
  • Ability to manage multiple regional projects effectively
  • A logical thinker and results-oriented and with excellent project management, communication, and business process mapping and analytical skills
  • An independent and motivated individual and requires little supervision and demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making skills
  • Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. May supervise the activities of others
  • Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Track record of designing solutions to harmonize business processes and leverage IT systems
  • Preferred :

  • Previous experience and two full cycle project implementations in ServiceMax
  • Previous experience in large multinational corporation
