THE ROLE

As Customer Service Representative , you receive and process customer orders and provide service information to external customers or potential customers on various types of orders, including complex and / or export orders, to ensure customer satisfaction.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acts as primary customer interface for important external customers (mainly car manufacturers), potential customers and other roles internal to the business;
  • Interacts with broader network of Internal Chemours Partners to ensure that the customers’ requirements are understood and commitments are met;
  • Receives and processes all types of customer orders including complex and / or Export orders following defined procedures and guidelines;
  • Responsible for inquiry & order handling process from beginning to end;
  • He / she needs to obtain and maintain a good understanding of the business and of the customer, to respond to customer needs and to be able to take appropriate action in case issues arise;
  • Processes customer complaints and returns according to Complaint Management process and return policies. Is able to identify need for extra information to enable a thorough complaint analysis.
  • Ensures correct input of data in Complaints system and SAP.

  • Drives the empty packaging return process in an efficient and effective way with the customers;
  • Helps to resolve open credit issues / payment discrepancies with customers and issues invoice adjustments and other debits / credits (in cooperation with the Credit team);
  • Follows desk procedures / policies in compliance with QS 9000, ISO and / or other Quality System requirements;
  • Is able to provide backup coverage for colleagues in the Customer Service team.
  • SKILLS

  • Bachelor degree in Languages or Logistics Management or equivalent through experience;
  • Experience with OEMs and / or logistics are considered a plus;
  • Very good knowledge of Dutch, English and either French or German;
  • Experience with ADR / IMDG;
  • Very good in Word and Excel, knowledge of SAP R / 3 is a plus;
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with all levels of the organization and customers;
  • Problem-solver;
  • Planning and organizing;
  • Highly focused on customer satisfaction;
  • Very accurate worker;
  • In possession of a driver’s license.
