The working environment
Inthis context, we are responsible for all engineering activities related to thedevelopment and implementation of industrial transport systems, frompreliminary and detailed design to commissioning and maintenance preparation,including conformity of execution files, test phase and operationalcommissioning.
Youwill work on international projects from our office in Brussels and on-sitetravels will be required.
As Railway EngineeringDirector you will be responsible to reinforce from scratch a railwayengineering within the company : methods, tools, resources in a railway systemapproach according to functional and performance requirement.
Forthe Group :
Thecreation of a robust methodology and efficient support to Transport ProjectDirectors located within the Group's Business Unit, spread around the world andthemselves in charge of bid and project implementation.
Thesourcing development of local and worldwide engineering Partnership strengtheningthe credibility of offers and efficiency in terms of Client meetingexpectations and respecting the budget.
Theimplementation of a quality policy covering the entire implementation of engineeringtransport project.
Theskills of transport development within our company entities located around the world.
These twomissions internally and externally includes :
Theanalysis of the preliminary ToR maturity.
Themanagement of the expertise team with a deputy and personally the developmentof the skills of the worldwide network.
Thesupport of engineering to Project Directors during the critical phases ofnegotiation.
Thevigilant monitoring of functional interfaces with consortium partners.
Thesubmission opportunities in consulting or project management proposals.
Travelabroad estimated 15% full time in projects support.
Youhave a master degree in engineering;
Youhave a broad and solid experience in the railway field (traction, power supply,civil engineering, signalling, ..), standards and associated rules governingthe Technical requirement, acquired in the realization of some flagshipprojects;
Youare an acknowledged leader, motivator, and coordinator;
Youhave experience in operational management, and HR of large technical teams;
Youhave an analytical and critical mind-set, able to quickly assess technicalpapers, documents and reports;
You have strong communicationskills and you are fluent in English. Knowledge of French, Spanish, Portugueseor Arabic are considered a strong asset;
Youhave a few years of international experience on several continents;
Youhave an entrepreneurial spirit, client and result oriented;
Youhave an innovative mind-set, eager to develop new solutions and able to respondto a changing playing field;
