The position is framed in Prof. Laurent Taskin’s research program about the effects of intensive homeworking on the relation to work and the enforcement of new ways of working.
The researcher will be attached to the Louvain Research Institute in Management and Organizations (LouRIM), and more particularly the Lab4Hum, as well as the CIRTES.
To be an actor in a motivating dynamic at the service of HRM research and more particularly through :
A contribution to the ongoing research projects in particular the WORKVID project (analysis of the transformation of work relation in a situation of intensive homeworking) and NWoW (enforcement of a specific work organization inside a public service) ;
A contribution to the lab activities (seminars, publications, projects, ).
The researcher will develop the following activities under the supervision of Prof. Laurent Taskin :
Contribute to the WorkVID research that has been studying confined workers since May 2020 and tries to understand how their relation to work and non-work is reconfigured : On the research level : carry out a methodological literature review (usage and analysis of the auto-managed dashboard), participate to the analysis of data (coding), participate in the redaction of thematic research notes and research reports, identification of special issues in targeted journals and writing of a set of abstracts.
On the logistic level (if needed) : organisation of the transcription (contact with hired students), contact with participants
Contribute to the NWoW project : action-research in the public service. The researcher will be the person in charge of the project (participation to the meetings with the team from ULiège, gathering of data, analysis, presentation of research results, UCLouvain representative).
The researcher will collaborate with Dr Michel Ajzen, research coordinator.
Participate to a research dynamic mixing scientific experts and Human Management professionals.
Fixed term of 12 to 18 months depending on the status (post-doc or researcher), from 15 August 2021. The researcher will work in Louvain-la-Neuve.

Profile and competences
Successful candidates will meet the following conditions :
Hold a university degree of at least 300 credits in management sciences, human resource management, management engineering or another social science field (sociology, psychology, political sciences, ), obtained with honours;
Demonstrate a research experience in social sciences;
Master gathering and qualitative analysis methods (individual and collective interviews); or commit to reach a proficiency level;
mastering other methods will be considered an asset;
Demonstrate an interest for human management and research in this field of management sciences;
Be able to work autonomously and take initiatives to carry out the work;
Be able to work in a team collaboratively, in multi-project mode;
Be able to write scientific texts and communicate with professionals in a clear, precise and rigorous language;
Master the software programmes most commonly used in research;
Be proficient in French and fluent in English
