Senior Manager, Public Policy, Government, & Philanthropy
Who we are
Twitter is a world-wide communications platform that is changing how people interact and communicate at home and at work. The Twitter @Policy team focuses on public policy issues posed by the continuing spread of digital technology and web-based communications services around the world. These issues range from freedom of expression, online safety, intellectual property, privacy, and Internet freedom.
We act as Twitter’s ambassadors to government policymakers, regulators, and civil society groups. We are the eyes and ears and, where appropriate, the voice for Twitter out in the world. In addition, we serve as the @TwitterGov team and showcase the use of Twitter for civic purposes as well as the @TwitterForGood team, providing mentorship, resources, and support for NGOs and local partners.
