The Productivity and Enablement team is constantly looking for opportunities to improve the efficiencies and strategic alignment of these platforms to ensure optimal business value.

The team also runs site-specific initiatives to increase end-user productivity in very specific R&D areas such as Accelerate to Value (AtV) and Key Plus Accelerated (KPA) projects.

These projects bring us at the very core of the drug submission processes! To further optimize R&D productivity in the EMEA region we are recruiting an IT Lead, Productivity and Enabling Services.

Key Responsibilities : As the IT Lead, Productivity & Enabling Services PLO you will provide project management & technical delivery services across the key R&D initiatives in EMEA.

Your main focus is to ensure all projects are fully aligned and properly supported. You run projects and initiatives related to site enablement & end-

user deployments in Beerse. As a team we take responsibilities around validation, security and project portfolio management.

As a service manager you engage with service providers to ensure service outcomes meet business expectations. We also share relevant information across the platform groups.

You are the EMEA Content Manager for the Strategic Platforms Portal. You collect, review and update the content of the portal (newsletters, dashboards and metrics, etc ) Main Activities :

  • You take the lead in delivering new End User capabilities in EMEA and manage infrastructure for special business meetings such as Presto Meetings for AtV / KPA projects.
  • You participate in the technical delivery of key initiatives within the Strategic Platforms domain. Assist with Project Management activities as well as technical facilitation & delivery, as appropriate
  • Lead initiatives to optimize the JJT Processes and Execution Excellence (e.g. CAR submission process, JJTS Service Requests, structural end-user issues)
  • Connect with Project leads across the Strategic Platform groups on a frequent basis to track progress, financial status and overall delivery.
  • Be a PM guide in Beerse to answer questions and resolve issues raised by project managers.

  • You are part of the editorial board for the Strategic Platforms Portal. Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 6 years of professional experience is required.
  • Solid Project Management skills; ability to lead multi-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication and social skills.
  • Can communicate effectively with technical and non-technical partners at different levels
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a technical team across business and technical areas is preferred.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance or SDLC practices is preferred.
  • Good process management skills - any certification or demonstrated process improvement skills are a plus
  • Good and broad understanding of information technology is required; eager to learn and follow technology evolutions and trends
  • A sense of ownership and accountability is important
  • Fluent in English
  • The job will be located in Beerse Belgium - some travel might be require
