JSG Professional Services is looking for a Software QA Developer for one of our Clients in Ontario. This person will be developing and executing complex quality assurance tests for turn-key hearing health solutions and SDKs, which target a variety of markets including IoT, implantable medical and automotive.

Responsibilities :

Improve the quality of software / firmware solutions through the development and execution of complex system-level tests including :

GUI level usability testing of PC & mobile applications

Unit testing of software and firmware features

Audio signal processing algorithm testing using industry standard lab equipment

Develop automated approaches to improve test time and coverage while also performing exploratory testing to catch corner cases.

Develop test reports that can be used for medical device certification by customers.

Define and track quality assurance metrics.

Provide technical content for end user documentation.

Provide support for customer issues or requests as needed.

Qualifications :

University degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.

2+ years of software development or software QA experience.

Software development skills in high-level programming languages such as C#, Java, Python or similar technologies.

Interest or experience with wireless communications and / or audio signal processing.

Hands-on experience with automated testing methods and tools.

Good written and oral communication skills.

Experience with best-in-class software development methodologies including Agile Software Development, Test-Driven Development and / or Continuous Integration / Deployment (CI / CD).
