Your work environment

Group Services is part of ING TECH and manages the applications, systems, and processes needed for ING Group entities like Finance, Risk and HR.

Group Services takes care of application development and configuration and performs various operational IT activities.

Group Services is also responsible for the development and delivery of change initiatives in these ING Group entities, whereby we adhere to the Spotify model and have implemented the Agile Way of Working.

The Global Processing Center (GPC) Accounting chapter is positioned within the Finance tribe Accounting and is primarily responsible for delivering IT services and application changes regarding accounting, reconciliation and financial reporting.

Assets in scope are PAR (Product Accounting Rules), FSD (Finance Static Data) and RCN (reconciliation).

The chapter has an agile mindset, an eye and drives for continuous improvement is Risk-aware and has an eagerness to learn and adapt.

The chapter is data-driven and is the trusted advisor to its stakeholders.

Especially looking at the numerous requirements coming our way, this chapter plays a crucial role and is at the heart of ING Finance.

Who are we looking for

We are looking for a Developer to strengthen the team and bring it to the next functional level. The extensive automation of IT development, testing and deployment processes requires an interest in IT.

Combined with a strong interest in Finance (Accounting), a perfect combination.

Are you the person who can translate and implement requirements to provide our Finance colleagues with the best possible solutions?

Are you familiar with Financial Markets products, Lending products, and Accounting? Do you like to explore the newest technologies?

Education / Working experience

  • Bachelor in IT or Accounting
  • Strong functional understanding of accounting
  • Experience in Accounting / Banking
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum
  • Experience with PLSQL
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Interested in working in complex (IT Finance) environment
  • Required competencies :
