The Engineering BoM process and tool technical responsible is in charge of all activities related to Engineering BoM tools, NPCT, Engineering Central and iView, including development, execution, verification and deployment of new functionalities as well as supporting users with the current tools.

This role interfaces with the platforms, product engineering, and engineering services operational leaders to identify business needs and requirements and to work with ICT to manage the tool developments.

Responsibilities Include :

Managerial - Coach and develop technical personnel’s skills in providing support to the PD&E global organization on the tools or processes within their responsibility.

Create the technical assignments; define project scope and deliverables.

Develop and implement technical procedures and practices within technical team. Deliver project results.

Develop individual action plans within the team and in conjunction with ES management to cover the technical tools and processes within their responsibility scope.

Monitor performance to plan.

Process & Tool development - Works in close conjunction with the business leaders and development team to negotiate, agree and define new and to modify existing CNH Industrial methods and procedures.

Participate in Design Sessions as required working with the methods team, IT and software vendors to develop tool solutions.

Documentation of Business requirements, i.e. writing detailed documents describing both the tool behaviour and new processes.

Testing Process & Tool Developments - Create detailed test specifications that will enable both IT and the Business to test the application and process successfully and prior to any deployment.

Responsible for the co-ordination of test teams and results compilation and reporting as applicable.

Implementation - Define and lead the planning and preparation for new tool & process implementations including data and system migrations as required and in tight co-

operation with the business. Deploys new processes to the end users.

Training - Preparation of training material for enhanced tools and processes ensuring that adequate levels of material are available, i.

e. summary for Managers, detailed for the users. Facilitate the 'Launch Teams' at each location to plan, organize, implement and then deliver training for all locations.

Provide post implementation support. Organize and provide global training on an on-going basis for BoM and other PDM applications (new hires and refresh training).

User Group Meetings - Responsible for arranging and facilitation of user group meetings, creating agenda items and content to be presented for all tools.

Filters and negotiates user requests for enhancements ensuring that only valid and prioritised ones are accepted for development to maintain common processes for CNH Industrial.

The qualified candidate will have :

Bachelor Degree in Engineering or IT related field.

6 years’ experience in product development , extensive knowledge of engineering bills of material tools and processes, as well as the GPD process.

Main IT applications knowledge : Windows Office, Windows Project, CAD, Teamcenter, eBoM and product configuration tools.

The ideal candidate will have :

Good Project management and analytical skills.

Good industry knowledge or experience within the product lifecycle management including experience with different vendors product development
