Mission

The Global Platform Manager is the main interface for Cargo between Brussels Airlines and the Lufthansa Cargo organization.

He / She is strategically responsible for the Cargo business analysis, for the creation / optimization of Cargo processes in line with set regulations.

He / She is responsible for networking, optimizing control systems for SN / LCAG. He / She is responsible for leading different projects on ad-hoc basis.

Tasks

  • Liaising Management : serve as interface between Brussels Airlines and Lufthansa Cargo and within Brussels Airlines by e.
  • g. transferring of agreed topics and working packages within the SN organization on operational and Management level

  • Develop a strategy to highlight SN USPs (unique selling propositions) in the Lufthansa Cargo sales organization and ensure they are a key focus.
  • Analyze and develop the RFS network and safeguard the connectivity between Lufthansa Cargo and the relevant networks.
  • Responsible for the sales budget at platform level and its monitoring taking into account the market evolution. Analyze and evaluate revenue developments in relevant markets.
  • Analyze and report platform KPI’s (including quality)
  • Continuously develop and refine operational processes to enhance services and product capabilities
  • Support regional sales activities in cooperation with the global sales management and support central capacity control in order to increase revenues on relevant flights
  • Joint Business Development Activities by optimizing processes, structures and arrangements in order to improve the SN platform capacity offer
  • Profile

  • Preferably Master degree;
  • 6 years of relevant work experience in logistics or airline industry.
  • Good knowledge of Cargo processes and organization;
  • Ability to connect own activities to the worldwide LH Cargo System independently;
  • Good knowledge of comparable international airline / logistics industry structures;
  • English is a must, German is nice to have;
  • Project management and change management experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Business acumen and cost conscious way of thinking;
  • Strong presentation skills towards senior management
  • Communication and negotiation skills, conflict management skills;
  • Flexible and ability to work under pressure;
  • Ability for conceptual thinking.
